“Kevin has been working with me, as a member of his Ph.D. committee, to automate the creation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to save the U.S. Department of Defense $3 million/year. Kevin’s write-up of this work resulted in an accepted paper for ACM DocEng which was presented in August, and a patent application which was submitted in July. Great effort, Kevin, and great job picking such an immediately valuable topic!”
