Nicholas conducts research related to the measurement of indoor and outdoor air quality. Based in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineer, Nicholas designs, implements, and analyzes studies designed to better understand human exposure to airborne pollutants and to mitigate the adverse health effects of air pollution exposure. He works with stakeholders in academia, government, industry, and the public to develop, research, and deploy novel air quality measurement techniques.
