Linda has been with the Department since 1995 starting out as a student hourly while getting her M.A. degree in Music Therapy.  She began her career in the Department working with Dr. John D. Nelson as coordinator of the Tailings and Mine Waste Conference, then continued on with Dr. Charles Shackelford as coordinator for the  Center for Hazardous Materials,  She moved to the position of Office Manager in 2006 with Dr. Luis Garcia and currently Dr. Charles Shackelford as Department Heads.
