The Construction Engineering and Management degree in Civil Engineering is a collaborative effort between the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction Management.  Besiktepe enrolled in this Ph.D. program in 2016.  She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey and graduated from architecture school in 2003.  While in architecture school, her in internships took place at various construction sites which began her interest and a 13 year-career in the construction industry.
