CEE Welcomes Nicole Ellison to the Department Faculty

Dr. Nicole Ellison joins the CEE Department as an Assistant Teaching Professor this fall semester.  Ellison’s primary focus is teaching undergraduate students. She teaches and has taught courses in Civil Engineering Materials, Computer Aided Design, Mechanics of Materials and Engineering Practice. Prior to coming to CSU, Dr. Ellison taught part-time at both Colorado School of Mines and University of Colorado, Denver. She joins CSU as a Teaching Assistant Professor from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where she served as the Lead Facility Structural Engineer. Nicole is a licensed engineer in the State of Colorado and has been the author of numerous publications and presentations. Her experience includes over 20 years in structural and forensic engineering where she worked on a wide range of both commercial and residential structures including including the Downtown Denver Four Seasons, the Fort Collins Police Station and The Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort and Spa.  See more information on Nicole.
