Kevin Fleming is the marketing and communications coordinator for Colorado State University’s Department of Systems Engineering. He spent 6.5 years working as a civilian public communicator for the U.S. Army Materiel Command. He received public affairs qualifications from the Defense Information School, worked at the Pentagon, and deployed to Kuwait where he was the primary spokesperson for the largest tactical level logistics command in Central Command. Kevin spent the last 3 years as a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he is still enrolled and studying remotely. He received his master’s degree in mass public communication and technology from CSU in 2015. His undergraduate was in sociology, also from CSU in 2013. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys photography, running, and volunteering for disability justice and environmental causes.
