Dissertation title

Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Software Development Practices Translated From Scene to Screen Using the Real-to-Real Method for Inter-Industry Learning

Advisor

Dr. Marie Vans

Favorite memory

"The PhD program was fully remote, but I took the opportunity to visit the campus in Fort Collins when I gave my final defense. Just being able to finally walk around campus - and hit the college bars in Old Town! - was a great capstone to the program.”

Post-graduation plans

“I retired before I applied to the program.  It's been a great way to transition into a slower way of life and was fun all the way through - but I'm looking forward to settling down even further. I traveled the world full-time all through the program, and I'll keep that up, but now I'll have more time to relax and enjoy each city.”

Thanks you’d like to give

“Dr. Marie Vans, Dr. Steve Simske, and Dr. Nick Roberts were all a great help!”

Anything else you’d like to share?

“If you're thinking of applying, don't worry too much about the time commitment. It will vary for everyone, but for me it was essentially two days a week for almost four years, and then one big push to write the dissertation.”
