Nicole Whitmore is an Engineering Manager at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies (Terumo BCT) in Lakewood, Colorado. She currently works within the Sustaining group, as a part of the Research & Development department, supporting single-use disposable sets for two of our biggest product lines globally. Whitmore joined Terumo BCT in 2014 as an intern and has gained experience throughout her career in Product Development, Sustaining, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, and Management. Whitmore is passionate about providing medical devices to those in need and works with many countries all over the world to make this happen.

Whitmore is also the Community Outreach Lead for our Women’s Empowerment Associate Research Group (WeWill) at Terumo BCT. She leads outreach events every year working on educating the future generation of women, within STEM studies. Whitemore is also very involved in the mentorship program within Terumo BCT and is enthusiastic about helping others grow within their own careers.

Whitmore is an alumnus of Colorado State University and has two Bachelor of Science degrees: Chemical and Biological Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. She also has a Master’s in Engineering Management, with a Certificate in Leadership & Management, from the University of Colorado.
