Scharf Gives IEEE Symposium Lecture in Norway
Louis Scharf, professor of electrical and computer engineering and statistics, presented a tutorial lecture entitled "Statistical Signal Processing: A Geometrical View" at NORSIG-2002, the Norwegian Signal Processing Society's fifth Nordic symposium. The symposium was held on a coastal voyage between Tromsø and Trondheim, Norway, October 4-7.
Scharf presented one of two half-day lectures given at the symposium. The annual conference is sponsored by NORSIG and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Norway Section.
