College Implements Class Agent Program, Encourages Alumni to Get Involved

The College of Engineering recently implemented a Class Agent program that will allow engineering alumni to become better connected with each other, with the college and with the University as a whole.

Class Agents play a critical role in nurturing and cultivating the relationships that alumni have with the College of Engineering. Class Agents work with college staff and faculty to increase alumni participation at the college and departmental levels through personal communication with their classmates.

Individuals selected to serve as Class Agents receive valuable exposure as they network with classmates and faculty members. As a sign of appreciation for the volunteer work Class Agents perform, the Development Office offers them special opportunities such as viewing selected CSU football and basketball games from the President’s Box.

Each Class Agent commits to supporting the college and its programs at the “Dean’s Society” giving level ($750 per fiscal year), although giving at the 1870 Club level ($1870 per fiscal year) is strongly encouraged. Contributions may be allocated to the department or program of your choice. The Development Office recognizes, however, that Class Agents that graduated within the last 10 years may not yet be in a position to be able to contribute at this level. Such alums are asked to contribute at a meaningful level.

For more information on becoming a Class Agent for your graduation year, please contact Roxanne in the Development Office (roxanne@engr.colostate.edu or (970) 491-3110).
