Spring Celebration Brings Alumni Back to CSU

Engineering Dinner and Dance was College’s first alumni/faculty get-together

Alumni, current students and their guests joined the Dean of Engineering, department heads and faculty at the Fort Collins Country Club for a Saturday night worth remembering. At the Inaugural Engineering Dinner and Dance, everyone had fun getting reacquainted with former classmates and instructors, sharing stories about their family and careers, and dancing to music from swing to rock.

The College of Engineering has a long-standing tradition of mutual loyalty and support among the faculty and students. From the College’s beginning in 1889, faculty and staff have endeavored to maintain contact with our graduates, track their progress, and provide guidance throughout their careers. This tradition is still an integral part of the College today and its practice is even more important as we work together, both inside and outside the university setting, to find solutions to current challenges.

We are very proud of our traditions and the successes of our alumni, faculty, students and staff. In celebration of these achievements and our long-standing commitment to our graduates, the College hosted the Engineering Dinner and Dance on April 20.

We hope this is the first of many such events to bring alumni back to campus and Fort Collins. If you would like more information about upcoming events, contact Laura Rowe, Donor Relations Coordinator in the Engineering Development Office, at 970/491-7028.
