Dr. Tom Chen

Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Prior to joining the Department, Dr. Chen spent 3 years as a technical staff member at Philips Semiconductor in Europe, conducting research and product development of VLSI devices. Dr. Chen then joined the faculty at New Jersey Institute of Technology pursuing the similar research in VLSI technology. Dr. Chen’s research interests include novel VLSI architectures in computation and signal processing, VLSI design, CAD techniques for VLSI design, VLSI/WSI architectures, and computer architectures for machine perception.
