ISTeC and Apple Computer will be sponsoring presentations and workshops on April 26, 2005, in Ammons Hall. The event is open to Colorado State University students, staff and faculty.

9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Apple Introduction

Introduction to Apple's past, present and future, plus a sneak peak of Apple's new operating system, Tiger.

10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - The Nitty Gritty of Apple at CSU
Ammons Hall Rm. 123
Apple Everyday: campus networking, compatibility, common myths and general topics surrounding the use of Apple at CSU.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Multimedia Productivity and the Apple iLife Suite
Ammons Hall Rm. 123
Overview of Apple multimedia applications and the iLife style.

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Lunch Break

1 p.m. - 2 p.m. - HPC Offerings
Ammons Hall Rm. 123
Basics of Xgrid, Cluster Computing, Apple Remote Desktop management and Xsan will be covered. This session will be of interest primarily to faculty and IT involved in performance computing for research or lab management.

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - HPC Workshop
Ammons Hall Rm. 122
This is an opportunity for customized help or answers to HPC related questions provided by an Apple expert. Bring your most puzzling questions!

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - General Q&A
Ammons Hall Rm. 123
Apple professionals will be onhand to personally answer your questions.

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Recruiting
Ammons Hall Fountain Room
Representatives from Apple will be here to talk about both full-time and summer internship opportunities. Resumes will be taken and some onsite interviews will be conducted.
