Engineering Students Invite Community to Annual E-Days Celebration April 14 and 15

E-Days Barbeque

Colorado State University engineering students invite the university and Fort Collins communities to attend the 2005 annual Engineering Days celebration April 14 and 15.

The two-day event will kick off with a barbeque for the College of Engineering held on April 14 from 2-6 p.m. on the corner of Plum and Meridian. Activities at the event will include volleyball, flag football, a bungee run, an inflatable jousting arena, tug-o-war and live music from Patchwork Blue.

Students will display their projects from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 15 in the Main Ballroom of the Lory Student Center and on the Student Center Plaza.

A variety of engineering projects and demonstrations will be available for viewing, including award-winning project designs from chemical, civil, electrical and computer, and mechanical engineering. Projects on display at the event include the Walking Machine, Fire Fighting Robot, Chem E-Car, Salida Municipal project and SAE Race Car.

Awards for outstanding project concept and design and departmental awards will be presented at 7 p.m. in the Lory Student Center North Ballroom. Both events are free and open to the public.
