Aadvisory Boards Serve Departments, the College and Uuniversity

Engineering Alumni and Friends are Vital Partners in our Success

Members of our college and departmental advisory boards have generously given of their time and efforts to help guide and promote our programs. Their contributions are critical to the college and departments, providing vital links to industry, government agencies, and alumni throughout the U.S. and keeping us abreast of trends and forecasts in the profession. Members of these boards are indeed partners in the education of today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders.

The College of Engineering has an outstanding group of alumni and representatives of industry who have joined with college administrators in planning for the future. These board members have been actively involved in the creation of new recruitment and retention activities, the advancement of the College through their personal and professional contributions to events and fund-raising campaigns, and the support and celebration of student and faculty awards. They serve on numerous college and department committees and aid our professional student organizations by speaking at functions and otherwise supporting their efforts. We honor all of these individuals for their commitment to Colorado State.

Ed Cecil, Jud Harper, Joe Marcus and Gordon Meurer recently served the University and College in a new initiative to expand CSU's 1870 Club. We are indeed grateful for the role they played in this successful campaign.

Three of our engineering alumni also serve on the University’s Development Board. They are Brett Anderson, Joe Marcus, and Gordon Meurer, President of the board.
