College of Engineering Advances in National Ranking

U.S. News and World Report's "Best Colleges" edition ranks the College of Engineering undergraduate program as one of the best in the nation. This year the engineering program scored 57th, advancing two spots from last year's ranking.

"The College of Engineering is consistently one of the nation's top rated programs because it remains committed to hiring only the most outstanding faculty and pursuing cutting-edge research," Neal Gallagher, dean of engineering said. "Faculty members teach 100 percent of engineering courses and engage students in valuable hands-on learning opportunities. As a result, our undergraduates are demonstrating their knowledge and skills by entering the workplace fully prepared to perform as members and leaders of project teams."
