Employers and Career Partnerships

Our students learn hands-on from their very first semester in the college, and are ready to step right in to an internship or employee you are looking for. Connect with us through our student events, career fairs, and hosted seminars.
Employers can screen candidate resumes, add their current postings, and modify their organization’s profile using the familiar Handshake platform. It’s a free service, and if you “like” us in Handshake, you’ll also get our latest information and notifications.
We are ready to answer your questions! Find information here with our employer frequently asked questions.

It depends on the type of registration:
Tables and chairs will be provided.
For swag, handouts, and other materials, we have had on average 1,000 students visit the career fair in-person during previous events. However, that doesn’t mean they will all visit each booth.
Electricity is an extra $25 fee per registration. An internet is included for no additional cost.
There is a $50 processing fee for cancellations.

Registration is first come, first serve. If an employer waitlist is implemented, registration will depend on industry representation.
For returning employers, please be sure to have all outstanding invoices for previous fairs paid and jobs posted into Handshake.

The partnership between the Career Center and College creates a connection to a broader career ecosystem.
Career education is embedded across an engineering student’s CSU experience with accessible pathways to engage in career development.

Working with the CSU Career Center, we track information on trends in the industry, student experiences, and much more. Engineering students, for example, have the highest average starting salaries among undergraduate CSU alumni.
