Student Ambassadors
The Mechanical Engineering Student Ambassadors (MESA) host office hours throughout the semester to provide free individual and small group tutoring for all courses in the MECH curriculum. They can also assist with other questions related to being a successful MECH student!
Throughout the semester, keep an eye out for events they host, such as review sessions leading up to major exams.
MESA offers:

Fall 2024 MESA Tutoring and Office Hours
Office hours only occur on days when classes are in session. Schedule is in Mountain Daylight Time.
How to connect virtually:
1. Check the online schedule here and MESA Office Hours Announcements to confirm we are open.
2. Log into Microsoft Teams with your CSU credentials. We recommend you utilize a device with a large enough screen that will facilitate screen sharing (a cell phone will work but is not optimal).
3. Submit this form.
4. A MESA tutor will use the call feature on MS Teams to contact you for a tutoring session.
Note: MESA may be helping a student in-person and/or there may be other students “in line” virtually or in-person in front of you. Please be patient as you wait for your turn. We may combine virtual tutoring sessions into one meeting to help as many students as possible.
How to connect in person:
1. Check the schedule and MESA Office Hours Announcements to confirm we are open.
2. Come to our office in the Engineering Building basement, Room 5 (located in the ASME Student Lounge).
