Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering

Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)

The CSU-SACNAS was formally established in 2007 with purpose of connecting people from all racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds who are passionate about working with diverse populations in science and engineering and to encourage ethnically diverse students to pursue graduate education and obtain advanced degrees needed for science and engineering research, leadership, and teaching careers.

CSU-SACNAS members travel to the National SACNAS Conference, attend professional development workshops, and provide community service and outreach to younger students by volunteering with other organizations on campus.
