Faculty celebrate the 40-year career of Pierre Julien

CEE faculty convened for dinner at Blue Agave in Old Town Fort Collins to celebrate the prestigious career in hydraulics of their colleague, Pierre Julien, upon his retirement after 40 years at CSU.

Pierre Julien

Dr. Pierre Julien earned a PhD in Civil Engineering in the field of hydraulics from Laval University and began post-doctoral studies at Colorado State University in 1983. His research in hydrology focused on sediment transport and river engineering, and he received the 2004 H.A. Einstein Award for research on sedimentation and river mechanics.
