Mahmoud featured in Yale Climate Connections on lifespan of bridges

Professor Hussam Mahmoud spoke with Yale Climate Connections this week about the impact of climate change to the expected lifespan of bridges in the U.S.. Bridges are typically designed to last 75 years, but the effect of extreme precipitation, temperatures, and rising sea levels can accelerate the deterioration and corrosion.
