The undergraduate Environmental Engineering program provides a solid foundation in physical, chemical and biological sciences, mathematics, and engineering fundamentals. Students are also able to pursue the interdisciplinary aspects of environmental engineering.
Environmental issues are complex and interconnected, requiring holistic solutions. From the pathogens contaminating stormwater runoff to the air quality in low-income housing, environmental engineers consider the human dimensions of global challenges.
As an environmental engineering major, you can explore the many facets of the field through a diverse range of technical elective courses. Once you’ve identified your greatest interest, you can select one of our areas of concentration.
