Meet Our Graduate Advisor!
Susheela Mallipudi is the Graduate Advisor for the department, and she can help you through the admission process and answer your questions about our degree requirements.

Graduate Student Forms
Thesis/Dissertation Registration Request
Submit this online form each semester you plan to take either:
- Master of Science thesis credit (CIVE 699X)
- Ph.D. dissertation credit (CIVE 799X)
The CEE Graduate Advisor will inform you once an override is provided. It is then your responsibility to register in RamWeb.
Independent Study (CIVE 695) Registration Form
Submit completed form with all required signatures to the CEE Graduate Advisor to register for an independent study (CIVE 695).
The CEE Graduate Advisor will inform you once an override is provided. It is then your responsibility to register in RamWeb.
Ph.D. Qualifying Exam Results Form
The faculty chair of your Qualifying Exam committee will need to submit the your QE results to the CEE Graduate Advisor using this form.
Program of Study Worksheet
Students may use this optional worksheet to help plan their registration of courses each semester. Complete prior to meeting with the CEE Graduate Advisor for advising.
Submit form signed by your faculty advisor to the CEE Graduate Advisor once you have met the publication requirement for a Ph.D. degree.
The Graduate School’s GS30 form will not be signed by the CEE Department Head if this form is not submitted at the same time.

Courses
View our course catalog to see descriptions of all civil and environmental engineering courses (prefix “CIVE”). Graduate courses are 500-level and higher.
