Jarrett named 2026 ASCE Structural Engineering Institute Fellow
Teaching Assistant Professor Jordan Jarrett has been named to the 2026 Class of Fellows for the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). SEI is a discipline-specific institute with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) that works to improve every aspect of the structural engineering profession. SEI bestows fellowships to recognize members for their leadership and mentorship in the structural engineering profession.
“I am honored to receive the recognition as an SEI Fellow, and I look forward to continuing to work with this great organization and my fellow Fellows for the betterment of our profession,” said Jarrett.
Jarrett’s SEI service roles include faculty co-advisor for the CSU student chapter of ASCE, faculty advisor for the CSU Steel Bridge Team, and membership on two committees for the ASCE 7-28 code development: associate member for the Wind Load Subcommittee and voting member of the Seismic Load Subcommittee. Jarrett also serves on the Board of Directors of the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC) and is an active member of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA).
Jarrett will be honored at the Structures Congress in April 2026.
