Mentorship Program

The BMES Mentorship Program is designed to support and connect students within the biomedical engineering community at Colorado State University. Through this program, newer students are paired with experienced peers who provide guidance on academics, research opportunities, career exploration, and navigating the BME program.

Mentorship creates a supportive environment where students can ask questions, share experiences, and build meaningful connections within the department. Through social events, informal meetups, and one-on-one conversations, mentors help mentees gain confidence, discover new opportunities, and become more involved in BMES and the broader biomedical engineering community.

Get Involved!

The BMES Mentorship Program is open to everyone in the BME community! First- and second-year students can join as mentees to get guidance and support, while third- and fourth-year students can become mentors and share their experiences. Keep an eye out for BMES announcements each semester to sign up and get involved.
