Amir Nazerian

Postdoctoral Fellow

Mechanical Engineer

Upon receiving his PhD in Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2025, Amir Nazerian joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University as a postdoctoral fellow. His teaching interests include topics in control theory, such as Control Systems, Model Predictive Control, Robotics, etc. His research interests include networked dynamical systems, transient dynamics analysis, and applications of artificial intelligence in dynamical systems. He enjoys hiking and camping.

Research Interests

Amir’s research is centered around networked systems. Topics include synchronization of connected systems, transient analysis and contraction theory in complex systems, and decomposition of optimization of large networked systems. His recent interest has shifted toward implementation of AI in dynamical systems.
