Ryan Werner

Ryan is a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Yalin and Dr. Windom. He completed his PhD in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University in 2024. During his PhD, his research focused on drop-wall impact phenomena and fuel vaporization with the goal of developing experimental data sets of liquid fuel droplet behaviors to inform numerical simulations. At CSU, Ryan is working on research using laser diagnostics techniques to sense trace amounts of hydrogen gas for industrial emissions detection applications.
