Joe Huyett

Joe is a research associate in the REACH CoLab, where he collaborates with Dr. Todd Bandhauer to develop and scale high-impact technologies for decarbonization. Before joining the lab in 2021, Joe gained extensive experience in petrochemical manufacturing, specializing in heat transfer, fixed equipment, reliability, and maintenance management. Building on his passion for sustainable innovation, he began pursuing a PhD in Systems Engineering from Colorado State University in 2024. Outside of work, Joe is an accomplished trail runner who enjoys exploring the mountains of Colorado.
