Transfer Students
Menu
One third of Colorado State University students transfer from another institution. We’re here to help you join our campus community and to find the right path to engineering success.
We’ve made the community college transfer process easy for students studying civil or mechanical engineering!
A Colorado community college student who has completed an Associate’s degree in Engineering Science can transfer directly into our civil engineering OR mechanical engineering degree program.
CSU has signed statewide community college transfer agreements for mechanical and civil engineering majors with the Colorado Department of Higher Education and the Colorado Community College System.
The agreement streamlines the transfer process for students who wish to complete their lower division coursework at one of 13 community colleges within the Colorado Community College System.
This guaranteed credit transfer means students can rest assured that they’ll be on track toward their bachelor’s degree as soon as they arrive.
Any students enrolled in an ABET-EAC accredited engineering program at another university will be admitted directly into any undergraduate engineering program within the WSCOE provided that the student has a cumulative GPA ≥ 2.5.
