Pillars of Support is a student-led recognition initiative that highlights the meaningful contributions of the faculty and staff within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Students are invited to nominate individuals whose teaching, mentorship, or support has positively shaped their academic or personal experience.
The program seeks to foster a culture of appreciation, connection, and engagement by amplifying student voices and celebrating those who help make CSU and the department a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
She goes out of her way to work with and accommodate all her students, and she does it with a smile every day. I don't know what this department would be without her!
Shannon has been my advisor for the past four years and I could not have made it thus far without her. She has always given me the best advice both academically and personally and has made my time here at CSU incredibly special.
