Shannon was born and raised in Fort Collins and has always been a huge Ram fan! She graduated from CSU with a degree in Communication Studies and worked in both sports radio and the mortgage industry in Denver for a decade. She returned to Northern Colorado and began working in the Registrar’s Office at CSU. After eight years in the Registrar’s Office awarding degrees and evaluating transfer credits, Shannon moved into the role of Undergraduate Advisor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department.

Shannon enjoys being an advisor and works to honor and help students travel their chosen path to a bright future in engineering.

She is a devoted fan of all things sports. Her daughter Adelyn, age 13, and their rescue pup Gracie spend their free time with family enjoying all the great things that northern Colorado has to offer.
