Rachel grew up in Texas and moved to New York City to begin her career in tech as a data analyst and product manager. She worked at startups in the NYC area for a decade and moved to Fort Collins in 2021. As an administrative assistant and coordinator in the CEE Department, Rachel supports a variety of projects and initiatives across transportation, energy, and hydrology. While her professional experience is in technology, her academic training is in writing and editing, and she has worked as a content writer, editor, and strategist. She specializes in writing about health and technology for a general audience. Outside of work, she likes hiking, reading, and spending time with her spouse, daughter, and cat.
