Academic Advisor and Student Recruitment Coordinator, Construction Engineering

Kyla is an experienced educator originally from Rhode Island. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in South Carolina before moving to Colorado to pursue a Master’s in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language at Colorado State University.

With over a decade of experience teaching and developing curriculum for international students at CSU, Kyla has cultivated a deep passion for helping students navigate their academic journeys. She transitioned into academic advising and recruitment to continue supporting students in achieving their educational and career goals.

Outside of work, Kyla is an outdoor enthusiast who loves exploring Colorado’s natural areas, traveling, and cheering on the CSU Rams. Her adventurous spirit complements her dedication to guiding students toward success.
