Asma Haniff

Asma Hanif leads and manages several energy, water and sustainability research projects in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, within the Center the Energy Water Sustainability research group. She specializes in enabling research collaborations with Department of Defense (DoD), utilities, cities and industries, to provide innovative, sustainable and climate smart engineering solutions. She has more than 10 years of experience in clean water initiatives (including wastewater, drinking water, stormwater and produced water), energy (including oil & gas, bioenergy and solar) and sustainability (process optimization, monitoring, resource recovery, and hydrology and hydraulics). She excels at leading and managing novel multi-disciplinary projects with culturally diverse project teams.
