Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate Aleah Hahn for receiving a scholarship to participate in the NSF International Research Experiences for Students! 

The NSF award is administered through UC Davis’ Advanced Studies Institute, will fund Hahn’s travel to Trento, Italy, this summer. She will study glacial streams with five other graduate students, with an emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach.  

Hahn is advised by Associate Professor Ryan Morrison, and her doctoral studies focus on the effects of large wood in rivers.
