Altitude

5003 ft. (1.5 KM)

Travel from Denver International Airport to Fort Collins

Two shuttle services provide transporation to campus:  Groome Transportation and Landline. Car rentals are also an option.  Shuttles depart almost every hour.  Ride is about one hour long.

Climate in September

Days are typically very sunny with temperatures in in the 80’s F (27 Celsius).  In the evenings, temperatures can drop down to the 50s F (13 Celsius). Bring a hat and layer clothing. Due to altitude, it is recommended to bring a water bottle and drink plenty of water while visiting. Coloradoans refill their water bottles and avoid ‘bottled water.’
