Distributed multiple access with an enhanced physical-link layer interface
Abstract: With an enhanced physical-link layer
interface, link layer users are equipped
with multiple transmission options, and
therefore can exploit advanced
communication adaptation approaches
such as rate and power adaptation. This
presentation aims to provide a
distributed medium access control
framework that helps the users to adapt
their transmission schemes to a near
optimal point with respect to a general
predetermined symmetric network utility.
