Microgrid optimization, modelling and control
Abstract: This project is about maximum utilizing the natural
gas engine with attached storage system to maintain
a near constant grid frequency under rapid
fluctuation load condition. However, with the long
time delay associated with natural gas engine. This
task could be very challenging. We will deploy
advanced robust control techniques to overcome this
problem.

This presentation talks about microgrid optimization
for fuel minimization; Microgrid modelling,
including: Natural gas engine, battery and DC-AC
inverter. Control approaches that will be applied to
the microgrid is also discussed.
