Design and Optimization of Photonic Integrated Circuits for High-Performance Computation
Abstract: This thesis explores the design and optimization of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) aimed at enhancing high-performance computation. As the demand for faster and more efficient computing continues to rise, traditional electronic systems face significant limitations in speed and energy consumption. This research addresses these challenges by leveraging the unique properties of photonics integrated with novel optical materials, such as high bandwidth and low energy dissipation.
