Professor Budak transformed the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and shaped three generations of successful engineers. His impact would not have been possible without the support of his wife, Helga, who helped him behind the scenes, from typing and proofreading his textbooks to entertaining students at their home.
To recognize the contributions of both Aram and Helga, we have established the Aram and Helga Budak ECE Endowed College Professorship. Once fully funded, the endowed college professorship will foster excellence in teaching in the department, while honoring the Budaks’ legacy for years to come.

Bharti Temkin, lifelong educator and accomplished mathematician, has made an $80,000 gift in honor of her late husband Henryk Temkin, a former professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University.
The donation establishes the Henryk and Bharti Temkin fund in honor of Henryk Temkin, a Rockwell-Anderson Professor of Electrical Engineering at CSU from 1992 to 1996.
The gift will provide support for laser and photonics research and education led by University Distinguished Professor Carmen Menoni, who leads fundamental advancements in the science of transparent amorphous materials and their applications to laser science and technology.

Bill and Marcia Eads established the Eads Family Scholarship to help alleviate the financial challenges some students face. The renewable scholarship provides support for students from their freshman to senior year.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University is built on innovation, creativity, and impact.
