Student Spotlight: Lydia Rush

"While my background is in chemistry, I chose to pursue ECE for graduate school because of the cross-disciplinary aspect of this project. It involves a combination of electrical and mechanical engineering, chemistry, and physics. It is exciting (and humbling!) to know that everyday I will be exposed to a new concept or challenge in one of these fields."

Meet Lydia Rush, a Ph.D. student in Professor Carmen Menoni’s group at the Laboratory for Advanced Lasers and Photonics. She also works in collaboration with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
