These commands manipulate entire processes running on UNIX.

ps	List your current running processes. Examples.
kill	Send a kill signal to a running process. Examples.
&	Run a command in the background. Ex. *./myprogram &*
Ctrl - c	Break out of a running program.
Ctrl - d	End of input.
