Subscale 2
The second subscale launch in December contained all components of the design including vehicle and payload hardware. This launch will test the reliability and help the team finalize their design. Images below are from the 24-25 Ram Launch Initiative Team’s subscale in December 2024.
Subscale
Each team in the USLI competition must complete at least one subscale launch. The Ram Launch Initiative team plans to complete two subscale launches in October and December 2024. The first subscale launch in October contained all components of the design excluding payload. This launch will test the reliability and evaluate our chosen design.
