Our presenters Alan and Janet Krech invite you to join us on Monday, January 30th, at 5:30pm in Engr B101!

Alan Krech grew up in S. Carolina and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BSEE from Virginia Tech in 1988. A design job in the Computer Graphics lab at Hewlett-Packard (HP) led him to Ft. Collins where he met Janet Haley at a summer internship in the same lab at HP. Exploring Colorado mountains, and playing soccer and volleyball led to a magical friendship. Janet graduated with honors from CSU with a BSEE in 1989 with a concentration in Computer Engineering. Alan has been a digital logic designer his entire career, with HP and associated spin-offs. He is currently a Senior Lead Designer for Advantest Corporation, planning and creating the next generation of IC Test Equipment in the local office. Janet was a Product Engineer for NCR’s Semiconductor Products Division and associated spinoffs for 8 years and now puts her process improvement skills to work in local volunteer projects. They hope to inspire you with insight on the variety of options for ECE graduates and how your personality may determine what kind of career path you wish to seek.
