Chemical & Biological Engineering

German Parada is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. He received his B.S in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from Iowa State University in 2014, and then completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at MIT in 2019. There, he was affiliated with the Program in Polymers and Soft Matter and conducted his research in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He then joined Dow Chemical and worked for three years in the Home and Personal Care R&D group.

His expertise is in polymers and soft materials, surfactants and colloids, hydrogels, biomaterials, rheology, design-of-experiments and statistical analysis to the classroom and the research community at CSU.
