After obtaining my Ph.D., I lived in Australia for nearly two years working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University near Melbourne. I worked with Christian Jakob on the "cloud problem" that currently plagues general circulation models over the Southern Ocean.

I currently live in Fort Collins, Colorado, on the margins of both the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. I always keep an eye on the weather. In addition to the research described on these pages, I like to put my meteorology background to good use by forecasting when I can (for field campaigns, fun, etc.) and storm chasing when I get the chance.
