minded hardworking students are enouraged to send their
resumes. Requirements include strong background in mathematics, statistics,
signal processing, and MATLAB programming, and excellent English
(speaking, writing, and listening).
Research
- (Jun. 10) Scharf and Pezeshki
win NSF Grant
to develop compressive sensing principle for high resolution image
inversion. This
is a collaborative project with Robert Calderbank at Princeton
University.
- (Jun. 09) Pezeshki wins NSF Grant
to develop new signal designs for low-complexity active sensing. This
is a collaborative project with Robert Calderbank at Princeton
University and Mike Zoltowski at Purdue University.
- (Jun. 09) Chong and Pezeshki win AFOSR Grant
to develop theoretical foundations for information fusion and control
in hierchical systems. This is a collaborative project with Bill Moran
at the University of Melbourne.
- (Jun. 09) Yuejie Chi,
visiting PhD student from Princeton University, joins CSU for the
summer. Yuejie is conducting research on signal design for active
sensing and on sensitivity of compressive sensing to mismatch.
- (Mar. 09) Profs. Pete Casazza
(University of Missouri-Columbia) and Gitta Kutyniok
(University of Osnabrueck, Germany) visit CSU. Talks by Prof.
Kutyniok on geometric speratation and by Prof.
Casazza on frame theory are scheduled for Mar. 24 (11am in LSC
Virginia Dale) and Mar. 25 (11am in CS 305), respectively.
- (Mar. 09) Dr. Amir Bannatan
(Princeton University) visits CSU. Dr. Bennatan's talk (on LDPC codes)
is scheduled for Mar. 9 (11am in LSC 203-205).
