Digital Simulation

The Mentor Graphics digital simulator is called QuickSim II. The digital simulator has a similar internal layout as design architect without the current component and context windows. The simulator has the following invocation syntax:

   [-i|-s <root_name>]
   [-nodisplay | -nod]
   [-timing_mode | -tim <unit | min | max| typ| lmin | lmax | ltyp>]
   [-delay_scale | -ds <number>]
   [-time_scale | -ts <number>]
   [-constraint_mode | -consm <off | state_only | messages>]
   [-contention_check | -coc <off | on>]
   [-spike_check | -spc <off | on>]
   [-qpt_messages | -qptm <off | on>]
   [-blm_check | -blmc <off | on>]
   [-toggle_check | -toc <off | on>]
   [-hazard_check | -hac <off | on>]
   [-dbg_blm <off | on>]
   [-spike_model | -spm <suppress| x_immediate>]
   [-delay_mode | -delm <inertial | transport>]
   [-setup | -set <setup_name>]
