occupationEnglish Teacher, freelance writer at The Riverside Center
other informationAfter graduating I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado until 1998. I received a bachelors in journalism at CSU and later went back to get a secondary level teacher's license in speech and theater. After my parents' toy store (The Village Toy Shoppe) closed I worked at a number of radio, newspaper and even fast food jobs (when necessary to finish my teacher's license) before moving to Japan where I have now taught English for the last four years. I continued practicing theater and drama for several years in Fort Collins and even got involved with a couple of Rocky Horror Picture Show casts for about seven years in Fort Fun and Boulder. My current hobbies are bicycling, researching Japanese history and Asian mythology, cartooning, practicing karate and writing horror and science fiction. I'm currently working on a new collection of ghost stories about Colorado, Japan (and really everywhere I've lived before). If anyone has one or two they'd like to share that I don't know about I'd love to hear them. Lee Karel Tomjack (8-21-2002).
