Dr. Azimi-Sadjadi joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University in July 1986 where he is now a full professor. He is also the director of the Digital Signal/Image Processing Laboratory at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. His teaching/research areas involve digital signal/image processing, adaptive systems and neural networks, wavelets and filter banks, estimation theory and Kalman filtering, wireless acoustic sensor networks, and target detection, classification, and tracking. His research contributions in these areas have resulted in over 200 journals and refereed conference publications.
